I created a new article and set it to the demo category I created during the video tutorial.
So I have a menu item - list & search, when I visit that page I can see the categories I created.
But if I click on a category title, the one where I put my article, there's no article in the category.

Actually for some reason, every category title I click on has this message on the category page

Template Style does not exist. Open the Content Type & save it again. (Intro + Content views)

Hi Sounds,

It's because your category titles are linking you to the Content view of your category - not a list page showing all the articles of the parent category.

What you are describing actually requires 2 List and Search types:

  1. A list and search type of categories, to list all of the categories on your site
  2. Each of these categories then link to a list and search type of articles. You need to pass the category ID of the category you click on in the link to the search form using Live Values.

Thanks,

James

Thanks not sure exactly how to fix that.
I've only watched getting started and going further

I already created a menu item for list & search type in joomla, and search type: categories.
