Hello, i would like to ask..

i already set the upload file field to be required

but when i tried to submit without any file, it still work

does it mean seblod didn't validate or i need to set something?

would love to get some explanation about it, thanks

edit

The validation work when the content already exists / editing an existing article

so if you edit the content and didn't choose any file, it will validate [field is required]

but if you create a new content/article, you can submit it without any file

Hello,

I have the very same problem with a file upload field.

I set it to required but there is no warning when you try to save new items.

Seems like this is a bug?

I tried this on different sites and validation is not working for file upoad fields.

So I added this as Bug to the tracker.

Hi Mehdi,

The dysfunction is still not corrected on Seblod 3.10.0 or did I miss something ?

I have just tried and had to add the "/" to make it work...

BTW : When i add this "/", uopload are blocked by my Admintools Firewall DFI. I mean by the firewall, not by the htaccess.

Do you know if there's some solution to solve this (I have disabled DFI protection on my firewall but i'm not sure this is THE solution...)

Any advice ?

Yes, you are right, the bug is still here in seblod 3.10

https://github.com/Octopoos/SEBLOD/issues/250

Adminotools is known to create problems with a lot of extensions, this kind of protections is something that should be done on server level. Check if it have some option to make exceptions to rules.
