ok. I have created modal form in form. But I have problem - when I'm trying save modal form (click save button) - form doesn't save. Moreover, butoon in the modal works as button in parent.

I noticed that seblod "submit" button has

onclick="JCck.Core.submit('save');return false;"

and "save & close" also have the same

onclick="JCck.Core.submit('save');return false;"
  1. how to save modal form and come back after saving to parent form?
  2. is the parent form updated after save of modal form?

nearly forgot, the action described is FORM in FORM, not form in the article or so...This is important and seems doesn't work in seblod....at the moment

Sorry, I didn't reqd previous threads

Hi

open-seb-one-modal-position-in-modal

apply-colorbox-with-seblod-how

pop-up-form

modal-position

Answer might be amongst that lot... might not...

You would need to place the form in a Seblod form module

Then create a Seblod Form field to show that module

Then apply the correct classes that your modal script requires.

And then apply the modal trigger to the appropriate field(s)

Depends if you use colorbox, bs2/3 or regularLabs, etc....

Hi iliil,

You will need to do some work in your site template to enable this by putting a module position within the Bootstrap modal markup, and using some html to trigger it (assuming your template uses Bootstrap 3). - http://getbootstrap.com/javascript/#modals

OR, if you are in the Content View or Item View of a content item you can put a SEBLOD form field (or module of a SEBLOD form) inside the MODAL template position and follow the attached tutorial to trigger it.

Cheers,

James
