Hi,

I need the button "Save as copy" to create many items with few modifications between them.

Here is what I have done :

1. in my content type (Article), I have added the button "Save as new" (category Core) like explained here

2. I have tried to create a copy on an item in the back-end : opened "test A", changed the title on "test B" and clicked on "Save as new".

=> it doesn't work. I have just the item "test B" ; the item "test A" has disappeared !

3. I have created a form for the front-end. Same test.

=> it works. I have two items : "test A" and "test B".

Why doesn't it work on back-end ?

Best regards,

I cant belief that such a simple usage like copy an article is not going to work with seblod.
I'm really disappointed. :-(

Jep. That's what Osep45 in the first post said. But I (we) need it in backend. No batch and no copy in backend is not really user-friendly for some (most) of my current projects. That's too bad, but I assumed that function without testing it. My fault. :/

Hello, I have been configuring a form with the save as new button in the backend and initially it seemed to work.

I have been made making changes to the form and I do not get it to work in the backend, not know if it's because I'm proving isis3 with bootstrap 3 in the backend, or if Save as new does not support fileds like SD concat.

Save as New is currently compatible with forms in the backend or is it planned for use in the backend?

As written above, it is currently only working in the frontend.
