Hi.
I was wonder what does the 42 field does. I mean, all fields have some name like 'e-mail' or 'user username'... But there is this 42 field.
Well, so i have made my homework. I searched in this forum, found many related questions, but - weirdly - no clear awnsers.
I noticed that this field aparently does something related to the CORE of seblod. It is like something that gives it power and sustains it's wide customizations power.
But I mean, it is there, i couldn't figure out what it does, or how it works exactly yet. BUT, I was curious about it's name and functionality....
All i could find until now that it is probably related to old civiliations and wise races that looked for an awnser to the greatest basic question.
A lot of study was made by those people, and they have even created a computer to do hard and complex calculus and formulas to find this awnser. This computer suposedly worked for milleniuns, non stop. Just calculating the awnser to the question.
The awnser is 42. (Yes, just like the name of the field!!!! I know.)
Yeah I know there's no proof of it, some say this is just a legend. Well, so i googled it, and here it is.
The same number.
The same mistery.
The same agony of not understanding how it works.

as you can see, there is no concrete knowloadge about field 42. All we can speculate is that it is important. And it's greatness and potential may exceed our wildest expectations.
I'm getting a little obcessed about this field. If someone is also noticing something weird about this, or about the meaning of all of this, please, ler me know.

i'm not sure what it does. But you shouldn't unpublish it, because as a result of that, the worlds power-grid will collapse, and so does the world wide web...

By the way. "Should" I feel tied to this 42 idea? I've been working on Seblod plugins for some time (PDF Factory was the first) and i admit i sometimes have felt somewhat uncomfortably about that.
