I bought the exporter add on to be able to export my content type data as I see in the search/list view, but it only exports the standard article data.
In the exporter menu options, where I can choose to export from a content type, I can select the one I created but the fields I can select to export aren't from it, I can only choose the fields from the default  "article" content type.

I found where to set that, if you choose "No fields" then the field from the content type are exported, but in a strange order, wich is not the fields order in the content type, nor in the search/list. Is there a way to export the field in order?

Hi jimenaes,

So there are a couple of steps.

Step 1: Configure the Exporter in the Admin Section.
  • Select the Content Type that you want to export.
  • Select No Fields.
  • Save the Session by clicking on the Star (next to export)
Step 2: Configure the List Type:
  • Add an Export Button to the Search Form - Define the Task as Export, and Select your Session (from Step 1).
  • Add a Field in the Order Tab if you want to define an ascending/descending order (optional).
  • Add the Fields from your Content Type to the List Tab.  This is where you can define the arrangement of fields.
Step 3: Create a Menu to your Search Type

Step 4: Search and Export.

Unfortunately, it exports ALL RECORDS, not just the found records. I followed your instruction, to no avail.

I attace some screnshots, of the configuration, in case you see something strange: 1) exporter session, 2) button config

Exporting found records after search was the reason I bought the plugin.

Hi kolydart,

Unfortunately, I can not duplicate your results.  But perhaps my setup is different than yours.

It appears that you have the button set up correctly.  What fields do you have set up in your list?  Have you customized the user's Content Type?  If you export from the exporter, do all of the fields export correctly?

Dear Randy,

thank you so much for your interest. Yes, If I export from the exporter, I get all of the fields export correctly. I filed a bug report, but, (as usual) I had no news from the core team. I could not wait for an answer, so I wrote my own plugin to do the same job. I am not upset. Seblod is such an exrtaordinary piece of software, I would happily donate money to the team, in order to support them.

I found the reason it was happening. I set the "tmp" path to a different location. As soon as I changed tmp path back to /tmp, both in global configuration and seblod exporter, the export worked fine. 

Also @rpoy' s suggestion worked. (thanks @rpoy)
