If you wonder what I do:
The user must provide information every day. Fields a lot, but changing only a part. To facilitate the work, the user opens yesterday's article, then corrects the data portion and saves a copy. In the end, in the database there are two articles.
I can see (vaguely) two options. I need to choose the best. I would be grateful for detailed advice.
1. Edit id and other fields before saving the article. (don't know how to do it right. In addition, article id should change automatically.).
2. When you create a new article, take yesterday's data from the database.

You are in luck. With new Seblod 3.6.0, Octopoos team added a new button field plugin called "Save as New". You can find the field in the field list on the right hand side of the page. Just set folder filter to "Core". Add this button field to your site form and/or admin form and it just does what you want.
