I've been trying to import a CSV into the system. If I don't add "title" as an import field (and populate the column) it works fine. As soon as I add "title" as the first column and populate the column, the import fails with all items cancelled. There is no helpful data after that. In other words, The reason why is not reported and I cannot troubleshoot the problem. If I take the "title" column off, the articles import (all custom fields, btw) and the title is set to the the date/time of the import. Any ideas?

Thank you. Will remember that next time. I solved the problem by adding an id field at the beginning of the file and populating it with a space.
