Hi Everyone. I'd appreciate some advice.

I'm working on a project where users are registered in pairs.

So, I would like to be able to register 2 joomla users from one form. I can achieve this no problem using seperate person1/person2 forms, but I think it would be more user friendly to have this happen on one form.  I've tried using groupX, fieldX, but cannot get this to work. Groupx always results in "Registration failed: Please enter your name. An error has occurred."

I'm certain Seblod can do this, but I cannot figure it out.  Any advice would be welcome.

Using Joomla 3.3.2 and Seblod 3.3.6

Thanks in advance.

Hi wisesiteguy,

I do not think this is possible - at least not through the Joomla registration.  SEBLOD can do a lot of things, but still must follow the Joomla rules.  The only way to add multiple users that I am aware of is to use the import tool.

regards,

Randy

Thanks Randy, I appreciate your response. Guess I'll have to think of another way to 'pair' the registrations. Happy to hear any ideas!

Hi wiesiteguy,

What is the purpose of "pairing" registration?  What are the functions and is there super user that approves or assigns any functionality?

thanks,

Randy
