Search::Join::5th Column

Hi folks

Question What is the Search Join Field 5th column used for?

     

These tutorials mention 4 columns:  understanding-search-join, how-to-use-the-search-join-field, Search Join Product, search-join-for-seblod

Looking in #__cck_core_fields I see that the key value pairing for the 5th column is {"and":""}.

I assume then that I can enter an AND operator to the JOIN statement. 

Is that correct?

{"Database Table", "Database Column", "Database Column", "Database Table", " 5th Column???"}
