Can someone point me to an article or video that sets out how to store data in a new database table.  A bit like categories but not categories.

I need to create several lists, or to allow my users to populate a list from which a selection can be made.  I would ordinarily use categories, but I want to give my articles a category_id and don't want to confuse the matter by having my "permanent" data in the same place.  The relationship is also different.

An example of the kind of list would be a list of classes of risk (there are only 10-12 per legal entity, but each legal entity will be different and the list will be different for each entity).

I have two seblod applications and another two non-seblod applications in the same site.  Having all these applications using native categories to manage this would be very challenging.

Thank you

if you create new conten type is new table automatically created, any new field that you add will we automatically stored in a separate column in this new table. Bseside this table uses Seblod also base article table for standard fields with article storage (title, created by etc) (or user, categories etc tables when content type uses other storage objects than article)
