Hi, I've noticed one er... anomally. I have 'Upload image' field (no storage) bonded with 'Field X' (storage: custom / article / gallery). At first look it works as it should, the problems start when I want to delete one of uploaded images.
1) When I press the 'minus' icon the image is deleted from the article, but is still present on the server.
2) When I check that checkbox next to the image and save the changes, the image is deleted from the article AND from the server (which - in my opinion - is the more desired behaviour).
Is it the way it was meant be or just the bug?

Probably a bug as nobody has thought about plugins behaviour in the context of fieldX.

I’m pretty sure this is the normal behavior. Imagine you have 2 fields, one for a main image and the other one for other images (let’s say 10 images more with a fieldx based on the first one). Then an user accidentally repeats the main image in the fieldx, or simply he/she wants to display the main image once more in the content through the fieldx.
At this point, if you click the checkbox for deleting image in the fieldx, you will also loose the main image, because it’s the same file. There are also other scenarios where you will need this feature, sure, e.g.: Uploading one image called several times from a fieldx and applying different filters to each one in the content view.

You got a point there. Probably should be something like "always delete files" that should be set in fields configuration.
