The error is: "Maximum File Size exceeded." or "Maximum image Size exceeded."
Why the form gets submitted if all the requirements are not met?
We require the user to upload an image or a file but the form is still submitted if they are no good and we have empty fields shown by titles and CSS borders and shadows. This is not reasonable!
When we can have this feature implemented? Do you need money or time? How much?

I was using plg_cck_field_validation_sd_file_size_v1.0.0.zip before Joomla 3 from this old topic, but its not good any more.
The same goes for the file name extensions, e.g.: .html, .php.

I've just made some tests and it turns out that if the image upload field is configured to "Max Fit" e.g. 600px x 600px if I upload an image 1.5MB it gets saved as 80KB. That's great news.
So now I can set the "Maximum Size" to something like 3MB without worrying about the size, but the problem still remains as the form still submits if the file size is exceeded and I get ugly empty file positions in the Content view with the title and the borders which are supposed to be for the image.
How to make the form not to submit if the file size is bigger than the allowed?

Wow, 3.3MB image gets saved as 83KB, how do you do it guys?

I've just asked my alienist and he's said that it's OK to talk about this to myself, because quote: "May be nobody is seeing, reeding or understands what you are talking about." :-)
