How can I create a button or hyperlink on my Content layout that launches a Site form to create a related article that's a different Content type? For example, if the Content layout being viewed is an Author, I would like to have a button or hyperlink that launches a new Book form while automatically picking up the Author name?
I have purchased quite a few plugins now, so I probably have the right tools to do this but I can't figure it out.

Well, put it this way: when you're viewing a form in the front-end (i.e. the Content view), can you access the field values? How would you do this?
