Hi there,

I am just getting in to Seblod and am hoping for a little guidance.

I have several different content types that I have created.  I've placed them all in the Article App Folder as they all should act as Joomla articles, but with different Admin Forms / Templates.

Sometimes when I want to edit one of the articles, the wrong Admin Form is loaded...It is the default Seblod Article Form, not the form for my custom Content Type, and then the image field that is attached to my Content Type goes empty because it is not included in the default Seblod Article Form.

Once it opens with the wrong Admin Form, I cannot open it again with the proper custom Content Type Admin Form.

Should I be creating corresponding App Folders for each Content Type I create?  Is there some confusion because all my custom Content Types and Fields live within the Article App Folder?

I do not need to package / export the site structure, so I wasn't messing with additional App Folders and wasn't sure of the point in using the included "Quick Folder".

Thank you for your guidance.

Just to be a little more clear, the edit url for the article switches from content&type=photo to content&type=article.  Not sure why.  Want to make sure I am organizing my content types properly.

Hello neodesign,

the App folder has no influence on content type (excep for permision inheritance).

When a content is created with a content type, it always re-opened with this content type, in frontend like in backend.

There is just one exeption to that :

in the backend, if you open the article by first click on the checkbox at the beginning of the line and then click on the edit button at the top of the article manager, the article will be open with the Joomla! form.

Instead, if you click directly on the title, the article will be open with the SEBLOD form.

This functionnality can be managed in SEBLOD options, tab "Integration" => Edit Link

Regards.

Lionel
