Hello
I need to create a special SEBOD form "edit own" permission based on a custom field (different than article created_by).
My content type contains a field with a selected user ID. I have a user group where I need only that user selected in the form field is allowed to edit the article. Is this possible?

In the permissions settings, there is an option "Edit Own (Related Content)". I have no idea how to use this.
Can somebody explain how this works and if it could solve my problem?

Hi, unfortunately there is no such permission, edit.own is tied to item author, it is not configurable which user will be used for "own"
