Hi,
I've got my date formatted with typography plugin, works perfect. Now I pass this date field by URL calling a contact-FORM.
In the contact-form there is no typography and the date is showed in base-format. How can I re-format the URL-date?
In the sending list-form I've tried getValue(mydate) and getText(mydate) but both result in same layout.
You can set desired format in the field.
Thanks Klas, it's not clear to me where to do this. I assume I've to apply some formatting like Y M D for instance?

You cna only do that if you use Calendar field or JForm Calendar field, as you use Text you are limited to the the Mysql Datetime format you use for storage
