I'm using joomla version 3.8.2 with seblod version 3.15.
The purpose is to change the label of the password field when I am adding or editing a user.
For example: when I am adding a new user the label should be "add a password" and when I am editing an existing user the label should be "change the password". Hug.

Hi
Thay could be two fields:
One is workflow add, the ither edit.
both have aame storage etc, only difference being label...
or.....
use before render field to alter the fields label based on $config('isNew') amd $fields['my_field']->label
