Hi,
I've opened a content type and I've clicked on the Site Form view while the Content view was still loading and guess what happened? All the fields from the Site Form view were replaced by the fields of the Content view without the possibility to get them back. Everything changed and I had a serious panic attack. I've tried cleaning all possible caches and I've tried signing in from another browser but that didn't help. Luckily I had the option Automatic Versions enabled so I restored the last good one.
Could someone explain why this happened? It looks like Seblod is very fragile.
How do you guys backup your days work? Do you download the app folders or what else can be done to be a bit safer?

(by the way... when you are on the Content Type Manager, you can go directly to the suitable view by clicking on the fields' number..)
2/ IF you've broke you form.. use the versioning feature.. to get back to the previous version of your work.
That's it.
(personally, this never happened to me.. but yes some improvements will definitely come someday in order to fix it for good..)

I cannot understand why would do you like us to repeat everything we say at least 3 or 4 times before it is taken into consideration. Can't you think about it the first time?

No, don't repeat your requests. What you should understand is that just because you ask for something, it doesn't mean it will be implemented by the Octopoos team. SEBLOD is an open source project which is now on GitHub. What this means is that you are able to submit your improvement yourself if you want. There is also nothing stopping you from implementing your own loading indicator locally on your own projects if you need this prompt. Personally, I think it's pretty obvious that the view hasn't finished loading because the fields haven't loaded on the screen. I don't look at a loading indicator.
The Octopoos team have their own development schedule driven by client projects which is what determines the features that are implemented in SEBLOD. This year you will see some UI improvements in SEBLOD, but, again, that will be determined by the team as to what they see to be the priorities. Also, as mentioned above, if you have UI improvements you'd like to submit for consideration, you can do so on GitHub.
This forum is for the community to help each other by sharing knowledge. It is not a support forum where you can demand things of the Octopoos team and vent your frustration about features you want that aren't implemented.

Hi ricco, be able to freely customize seblod is also my dream, but i found out they're things that not easy as it looks. I've been using seblod for almost 3 years, but yet there are a lot of things that i still unable to understand to reach some geniuses mind in Octopoos team.
in case of changing "ajax loading indicator" its very easy process.. you can replace the images and it done !
About color, UI design, etc... its just matter of preference, i don't think its a big issue here.
FUN FACT:
When seblod 2.x arrived (i think its almost 2 years gao), Octopoos team calls "the views" as "client".. and we 'argue' it for days to not use terminology "client" for admin site, site form, intro, content, search, list, etc... and then the words 'views' born.. So, yes, on some cases Octopoos team can be argued.. ha ha :D ... and till today, we don't still have good terminology for that padlock icon, right ? :D
