Hello!

I have a contact form below a content type and want to prefill the email subject with a identificator from  content type, like the Title and so on.

I created a variable in the Content type override and tried to use it in the live value of the form - but that didn´t work.

How to achieve that?

THANKS A LOT !!!

You should be able to use SD live plugin to get live value from any field in component content type, is this not working for you?

Hi Klas!

No, unfortunately not. The Contact Form is embedded as a module in the content type. I tried to put in the field_name in the SD Live Field - CCK Field and i tried to but #field_name# but both didn´t work. It´s on a Joomla 2.5 Site.

Thanks a lot for your help!

I thought i can´t use the Forms & List Pack because of a conflict with the SD Concat Field.

I had an issue with showing a list like decribed here on the same site before:

I tried it anyway now with the Forms & List pack and get the Error Message "Oops! Template Init. failed.. ; (" now.

Try using concatenation computation instead of Sd concat. Alternatively you could concatenate fields at display time with Html typography.

I use sd concat for title and for alias. How to use concatenation computation? - But anyway the SD Live Field doesn´t work either in the form...

thanks again Klas!

AAH!!

Been caught out by the dreaded SEBLOD forum timeout, that's twice today - it hits you like a punch in the gut!!!....

Wrote a really good reply, too tired to do it again

Cut a long story short: thank you for the link, I had seen it before and since forgotten so good to be reminded of it again.

RE: Oops! Template Init. failed..

I have discovered that it shows when in can not find the form to get the value, this happens if the module containing the SD CCK field is on a page without the other form, or if the SD CCK field is IN the same form

All the best
