Hello,

I am using Joomla v3.6.5 with SEBLOD v3.8.4 and sh404SEF 4.8.2 and I'm having some difficulty on two forms.

The problem is that the URL for the Related Article I've selected is not the correct URL.  In each case when selecting the link for the related article on the published page, the incorrect URL is the same.  This (currently) is a problem with only two forms and the incorrect URL is the same for all related article links for articles using these forms.

I've checked the field on the form, the IDs for the related articles in the database are the correct ID for the related article, the article title is correct, and the URL for the article (both the non-SEF URL and the SEF URL) in sh404SEF are as I intend, but for some reason the URL placed in the code for the published article is entirely different and always the same for all related article links with that form?

Does anyone have any ideas as to why this could happen?  Again, it's currently only happening with 2 forms, but seems to be spreading if I add a field to an existing form.

As far as I know Seblod does not work with sh404SEF

It does, has been for more than a year.  Only having trouble with 2 forms and I have over 15 forms.  Problem only happened on these two after I added a new field.

This is  an old video, but it is what I used and has been working:

Have you tried if it works without SH404 ?

Everything else works - just these two forms.

As I mentioned earlier - I recently added a WYSIWYG type field to these two forms and after I added these fields, all of the related article URLS in the coding for all pages using these two forms point to the same/unrelated URL

I've been using Joomla/Seblod/sh404SEF for more than a year and have had no issues.

The article ID in the database is correct, the related article title is correct, the form is still using the same category, the related articles haven't changed, the related article IDs in the database and join tables are correct.

The problem with these two forms is the URL coding for all related article links is the same.  I'm not having any problems with the actual URLS for these pages, just how it's being coded using these two forms.

Other users don't have this problem so very likely cause is 404, so do try it without sh404, it is the simplest way to eliminate it as a cause.

Appreciate your point of view.  I guess the question is which component saves me more time: Seblod or sh404SEF.  I'll dig deeper, but 404 eliminates the need to create menus/menu items in addition to an article.

I keep looking for a tutorial or documentation explaining how Seblod SEF/SEF (Canoncial URLs) function but haven't found anything yet.

Hi

Thought for the day:

With seblod I create single article menu items dynamically to make the good menu item alias, metadata etc using afterstore,
