I've got a default menu item set up where I load a list module with seblod. Here I select the same search and list item that I've also got set up with a different menu item.
When I click on the menu item set up with the search and list type I get a nice sef url, and I see the content view under the right menu id.
In the module on the default menu item I get a different url and also the content view is seen within the default menu item, instead of redirecting to the menu item set to show the search and list type.
Is that supposed to happen? Am I missing some settings?

how have setup the link (option 2) in the item view ?
If you keep "Inherit" for the "menu Item" parameter, content views will be displayed on the menu item you are.
To use the list at differents place, you must fix the "menu item" parameter to a defined menu item. So like that, regardless of where the list is displayed, the link will always return to the same menu item.
