I need more info on User Notes app than is provided on the product page.
IS it just a Seblod type / interface for the user notes table or does it extend the user notes table in some way?

Hi alanski,
SEBLOD extend the object User Note, like article, user, ...
So yes, you can customize the user note content type with news fields...
