about the "User - Form & Content Type", but also each Form, should have a creating Message Thanks and an editing Message Thanks in Configuration, anyway:
1 - Is there a way to set a Message Thanks when creating (like "Your account has been created and an activation link has been sent to the email address you entered. Note that you must activate the account by clicking on the activation link when you get the email before you can login.") and a Message Thanks for editing (like simply "Saved with success.") ?
2 - As far as I know this string is still missing, Please, Can you confirm me ?
For all forms you can set Thanks message in the form configuration (click on the site or admin form tab and then on Configuration tab)

thanks, I know it. But, as far as I know, there is only one Message Thanks without without distinction if during form creation or during form editing. So, here the question is another:

Clicking on "Save & Close" button during a User creation need a different Message Thanks than a User is clicking on "Save & Close" button to modify his Profile.
Please, Do you have any trick ?
You can set different message for backend form and frontend, but there is no trick I know of to differentiate between edit and create.
