Hi!

We would like to add new seblod articles into joomla. Is there a way to do that without using the backend form? We thought about a little php file could do what we want, but can you tell us about this issue more precisely? The basic story is that the client company has a database. It is stores the datas we would like to convert to articles.

Thank you so much!

You need to create a form in Seblod. Then use the Seblod Importer plugin with a CSV file containing your data. First line of the CSV should have the relevant DATABASE table names that you used for the fields when you created your form.

"dbfield1","dbfield2","dbfield3"

"data1","data2","data3"

"moredata1","moredata2","moredata3"

Hi ng,

Welcome to SEBLOD - WebOne is right. The SEBLOD importer is amazing. http://www.seblod.com/products/7

Consider also getting the Exporter if you need it, as it too is equally amazing. http://www.seblod.com/products/9

Thank you for the idea. It is a powerful tool to import articles into joomla, but we need to import articles automatically. So we have to import datas from the client database to joomla database. I have found some records in MYSQL which is related to the articles like: _assets, _content, _cck_store_form_cikk_kesztese_mappa.

I made a copy of these record and I renamed them. It is appeares in the back-end, but the content is incorrect.

So is it possible to create a new seblod articles using only the mysql database? If yes where are these tables, records located?

Thank you very much!
