Hi folks
Is there a rule I can go by for alias values.
Sometimes I can get an alias to add incremental value ie
my-title,
my-title-2,
my-title-3
and other times I might get :
Error
Another article from this category has the same alias (remember it may be a trashed item).
Is there a way I can work out when I will get either result.
In particular, I am trying to manipulate a Title field in either beforeStore or beforeRender...
... and still have the incremental value assigned.
But no joy.
Hours of pulling out few remaining hairs....

Hmmm
I think the alias-[incremental-value] thing only applies when isNew.
