Hi folks

Anyone been using the Astroid framework by Joomdev?

It is kinda like T3 but BS4 instead of BS3...

I have started using it and think it is great so far...

Seblod seems happy with it

Hello Bucklash,

Any update on how astroid is working out?

I am getting ready to start a new project with multisite, multilanguage, many subdomains, membership and many custom fields in profiles.

Choosing between astroid framework and gantry 5 unless someone has a better suggestion on framework / template...

Thoughts?

Thanks

All seems good and glad i made the switch from uikit. They have dedicated support team on the form and you get your questions answered pretty quick and they are keen to get info and feedback. No issues except for maybe the SCSS in the compiler but that’s probably my error rather than compilers

I'm just wondering, what is the reason you guys still using any (maybe bloated) template framework, while the built-in joomla template framework is powerful enough nowadays?

i don’t wanna use bs2,

I want to use bs4.

Astroid uses bs4.

You can use BS4 with built-in joomla template framework right?
