i will try your plugin on a test site soon, as i really miss the batch process in Seblod.

By the way, do you think your plugin could help me provide a "Clone this content" button to my users ?
My main content type has over 30 fields, so it would greatly help them to clone first and just edit the new content
I would something like the "Save as a copy" Joomla button, that I am sure lot of people miss in Seblod.

I tried it on Joomla 2.5 and I can say it doesn't work... of course :)

When using batch copy, the new item is just a standard joomla item : all the Seblod fields, and the item type are gone.
I would give both karma and chocolate to have this compatible for joomla 2.5 !

So I will try to find in your what are the 3.0 specific function and replace them with 2.5 LTS ones... wish me luck :)

Of course, there's one for joomla 2.5 i've been using it since joomla 1.7... it's been floating around in... old forum :D..

I tried the last one and it worked as expected : my custom content-type has 30 fields and their values were all copied successfully.
I now have to implement a "duplicate" button in my front-end manager, copying the one found in the Joomla back-end.

I will post it here if successful !

Has there been any progress on this issue?

Haven't looked into the code myself, yet.
I suppose it needs some hooks on content creation on the Joomla side,
to get a proper implementation.

@Bes: Would it be an option to add the plugin to the Seblod Core package or at least to offer it in the "Products" section on Seblod.com? This would generate a benefit for further users which might oversee this thread.

Our plugin was an update on Viktor's one. We still use it (we upgraded it recently and I should upload it on our website because the actual version has flaws). 

It is not a hack and I don't know why seblod team doesn't did it themselves.

Many thanks for your quick reply and confirmation. Just wanted to be sure... because I have made a related comment on a JoomlaDay 2016 presentation. A visiter mentioned the issue, but the presenter said he had no problems (with the core functionality).

what i did is using mvc override..since joomla does not support seblod by default and the batch process require to duplicate and create new cck id in seblod's custom data format.. love to know if you guys able to figure it out in different approach

I suggest you read some basic things about git and github first, here is some documentation from github https://help.github.com/categories/collaborating-with-issues-and-pull-requests/

In short - you will need to first fork Seblod, this will create seblod repository in your account and clone this repository to your computer. This can be done using git client or git integration in your code editor or github desktop client. 

Then you need to create a branch for your changes, e g. branch1 on repository on your computer, commit those changes and push them back to your github repository . When you have done that you can create a pull request from your branch in your github fork to seblod main repository, master branch.

yes this is not a hack but we often modify it because of new use cases we didn't anticipate. Duplicating a complex seblod content may be very difficult. Anyway this is the last release we currently use and feel free to download it , enable it and use it

yeah this is a patch..  not hacking any core..  batch prochessing must be done by tweaking com_content's mvc..  cyril and the team create good adjustment for this patch

we updated the DDX batch plugin HERE for J3.7.1 + sEBLOD 3.11

the trouble was the use of the deprecated JROOT_CCK constant.

Hi, I have been testing the new version and now it allows to clone Seblod articles well, but I have found that in some forms when edit the duplicate item, this opens as joomla item, and it is not opened with Seblod, Html content that shows the original article and the cloned is the same:

Does DX Seblod Batch creates a log or output to check what the reason may be?

Hi, I've seen that when clone an article:

When Cloned Articles Work:
In the _cck_store_item_content table, an entry is shown for the original and also each of the copies created

When the Clone fails
In the _cck_store_item_content table, only the original id is displayed, none of the articles cloned in this table are displayed
