When items cant be imported they should appear in cancelled.csv but that file is empty and so is updated.csv. Why do the files contain only the heading but no data?
If this happens it is a bug and it bellongs on the tracker.
Ok, I added it to the tracker. But ist the tracker sitll maintained by selbod? There are entries sitting for over a year now without any reply or resolution.
As I believe I already wrote previously - this is a free and an opensource project and since anyone can contribute bugfixes. Octoppos does contribute a large share in it's maintenance, but as resources are limited (developer hours are not exactly free..) they go into new features and fixing larger bugs that represent a problem to most of the users. So bugs like yours are not abandoned, it just happens nobody has solved them yet.
Update: it has been fixed in November but not released yet, to fix it temporary you can replace
administrator/components/com_cck_importer/models/cck_importer.php
with this file

As far as I know it will be released together with Seblod 3.11 as some features need newer Seblod
