Hi,

we have a consistent error on a website, which shows like this.

  • The user creates a new content item with a chosen content type. We are experiencing the problem across all content  types.
  • Accidentally they may enter a title that already exists and an alias is created which already exists
  • When saving they get a warning "an item with the same alias already exists in this category"
  • Subsequently we find that the content item has been saved, but the #__cck table entry has not been made.
  • As a result the item can not be edited, as no jSeblod form/ content type is associated with it.

Any ideas how to resolve this? Is there possibly a problem with how plugins are ordered?

I'm seeing that kind of behaviour on a clean installation of Seblod 3.6.2 into Joomla 3.4.1...

Even trying to duplicate exactly the demo of the 'three fields' into the Seblod article fails to save.

The Title field feeds a lower case version of it's value into the Name field. When tabbing away from the Name field, the bubble help text "* Available" appears. Trying to save the entry by 'Save' 'Save & Close' or 'Save & New' returns focus immediately to the Name field, with the bubble help on display again. All that can be done is to cancel out of the dialog.

Update:

This problem is still happening for me, but the error message seems to have been changed. It now has appended: "(Remember it could be a trashed item)". So I presume, someone from the team is following this forum?

I'm still having the problem, please see the error message and 3 screenshots from my category manager for live, trashed and archived items:

Does anyone else still have this problem?
