Tried to install SEBLOD 3.2.1 on Joomla 3.2.1 but the installation does not succeed. It issues a blank page with the following message at the top:

Fatal error
: Call to undefined method JCck::on() in /homepages/44/d90748584/htdocs/test/tmp/install_52d6410668d1d/extensions/install_52d641069f022/script.php on line 186

I tried both install methods (from package and from web) but to no avail.
Any hints?

Hi

Also get this error but on Joomla 2.5.17 when upgrading

I tried a bit of testing, as follows
  • Fresh install of Joomla 2.5.17
  • Installed SEBLOD 2.3.9.2 (from 2.x change log page http://www.seblod.com/changelogs?cck=seb_changelog&seb_changelog_product=cck_2x&search=seb_changelogs&task=search)
  • Upgrade SEBLOD - Tried both methods
    • Through the Extension Manager and the Update tab (it says version 3.1.1 for some reason)
    • Through the Extension Manager and the Install tab using the download on the SEBLOD homepage pkg_seblod_3.2.1.zip
On both occasions I got the same error during installation
Fatal error: Call to undefined method JCck::on() in path_to_website\tmp\install_52d94e2015fcf\extensions\install_52d94e206f906\script.php on line 186

Then on the front end I get
Fatal error: Call to undefined method JCck::on() in path_to_website\plugins\system\cck\cck.php on line 261

Most of the backend works but it does not look like SEBLOD is taking over from Joomla, notable when editing an article as all the SEBLOD tags are in the editor.

If you go to any of the SEBLOD backend pages I get the following error
Fatal error: Call to undefined method JCck::on() in path_to_website\administrator\components\com_cck\controller.php on line 34

Any Ideas anyone??

Thanks in advance for any clues or help

Thanks Saba!
I encounter the same issue when trying to upgrade to Seblod 3.2.1 with:
  • Joomla 2.5.17
  • Seblod 2.3.9.2 installed
One further hint: The Extension Manager in Joomla still mentions seblod version 3.1.1 as latest version (although I purged the cache). The issue could be related to Seblod 3+ in general?
Best Regards

Hi guys,

SEBLOD 3.2.2 is available, please try to use this new package to upgrade your site. It should work fine.
The issue you've encountered was something specific for upgrades from SEBLOD 2.x

Please note that.. updating your site each time there is a new package... will prevent many upgrade issues.

Regards,
Saba.
