Hi Folks

Just a philosophy question on multi-sites...

I aim to create a membership site.

I have had a very quick look at the multi-sites option.

I can't help but think that multi-sites would be the way to go to splinter off regions of a site depending on membership.

That said, multi-sites scares the bajeebies out of me... down the rabbit hole I would go!

Anyone created a membership site, and used/not used multi-site option?

Any pros/cons or obvious reasons why I should or should not use multi-sites.

If you use group restriction plugin from https://www.seblod.com/store/extensions/10872 you problably won't need multisites. Or you can use viewlevel restricitons, in any case it would make things less complicate than multi sites in my opinion.

Hi

I am not sure about subscription plans.

Thinking about doing it with Seblod.

I think the effort of working with Joomla plus a subscription component plus seblod isn't much more than doing it all with seblod

What are your thoughts?

HI,

Doing it all with Seblod? Is it possible?

I mean, managing multiple plans, plan duration, plan renewal, upgrade/downgrade to other plan,  payment processing… could we do all this with only Seblod?

Regards

Hi

Does sound daunting.

Based on my experience with PayPlans and Seblod I'd much rather try.

I will share how I do it... be good to get feedback.
