EDIT::SOLVED::Vital piece of puzzle (and sadistically) missing from Field Description/Tutorial...

In the Configuration tab of search form need to set the Default order to Inherit to make it work.

Trying to apply user ordering to search

Just trying ot get a result....

In form I have a Search Ordering Field.

ie Art Tile ASC=art_title [ASC]

and in the ORDERING TAB I added an Article ID field

BUT, no matter what I do, I always and only have this in the order by part of query:

ORDER BY t4.created DESC

I do not even have the created field in form...

Need a new wall to bang my head against as I have worn out the other one :)
