Hello I have this error after upgrade from 3.6 to 3.8 when I entre to a field
Save failed with the following error: Duplicate entry '521-type-337' for key 'type_id_version' SQL=INSERT INTO `#__cck_core_versions` (`e_id`,`e_title`,`e_name`,`e_type`,`e_version`,`e_core`,`e_more`,`e_more1`,`e_more2`,`e_more3`,`e_more4`,`date_time`,`user_id`) VALUES

Hi
I have had this.
It happened when I recreated a Search & List type that I had previously deleted.
I deleted the record in the db (the entry shown in the error message) and all was good.
It is just a reference to a 'version' and likely not needed.
