Niiicee! Thanks for your hardwork Saba :)

Where we can see the roadmap?

I'm really hoping you guys will bring SeblodCommerce in the Seblod 4 Release momentum. Please please please ...*wink*
I'm also hoping in the Seblod 4 version you will also introduce an easier way to create backend application for mobile phone. Thinking something like, 'Build your React Native / Ionic backend with Seblod'. This will make Joomla more useful.

Hi webchun,

Thanks for the feedback. No roadmap available but feel free to have a look at the changelog link shared below.

Indeed, that would be great! Currently we don't know when and how we will complete/release these products & features.

Saba, I'm looking at a big project down the road. I'm wondering if I get started on it now with Joomla / Seblod v3.x, will I run into big problems when upgrading to version Joomla / Seblod v4?

Hi Geno,

As we are not quite there yet, of course you shoudn't wait for SEBLOD 4, but get started when you need to, with current versions.

You must have a look at the SEBLOD 4 partial changelog though, and:

  • should not use any feature that will be removed (-)
  • should try to avoid extensions that will move from Core package to SEBLOD Store when possible (even if most of them will still work it implies that they won't be the best choice at that time... of course you'll be able to edit/change fields later on, if you wish)

Also if you use Category views, I would suggest to enable the following parameter right away:
Plug-in Manager > Joomla! Category Object > Routing Context > Best

And about routing, pick from those highlighted on our demo page.

Regards,
Saba
