Hi

If you have a seblod list that displays only ONE item per page and use the list pagination to browser among the list items, each url is mylist/?limitstart=xx

How is it possible to rewrite this url so that it displays the alias of the list item that is displayed mylist/item_alias ??

it would allow to avoid the creation of the content view and benefit from the previous/next seblod navigation

thanks for your help

You are trying to force list to behave as article view, this ofc won't work. Instead of using search&list, use article view and turn on page navigation, done.

Hi Klas

If I wanted to use the native Joomla page navigation plugin, I wouldn't have posted here...

The real issue is that the native joomla page navigation only understands the categories so there are two problems here:

1- if you don't have a native joomla menu item on the contents (but only a seblod menu item) the sef urls that are generated on the NEXT / PREVIOUS buttons are completely awful. This is a router related issue

2- the page navigation plugin only orders the contents according to the Article_ID field and among articles in a given category which may not be what you want

This is why it seems there is no solution until the router is rewritten but I hoped someone had a workaround solution in the meantime.

thanks

Pagination will always have links like mylist/?limitstart=xx as this is how it works - it needs to have data which items to skip. I'm afraid that currently you are stuck with page navigation or this.

Hello Cyril (and everybody).

I wanted to ask if you were able to solve this.

I need to create next / prev links for seblod list items  with article view SEF urls, as this was a requirement from a client.

Thanks for any possible help
