Turn off user registration notification

I followed this, but it did not turn OFF user notification when registering
Go to plugins list in the back end

1. Search for User - Joomla!
2. Click it
3. Set "Notification Mail to User" to No

I did all that and still Joomla sent the email ... Why's that?

Hello All,
thank for your posts.

In the plugin Manager (in backend), select the type "cck_storage_location" and have a look to the plugin : CCK Storage Location - Joomla! User", which manage SEBLOD user.
