How can I uninstall Seblod so I can use Joomla basic options? I read that I can unistall by chosing uninstall package in Joomla extension manager.

Is that sufficient and can I then use Joomla as it is familiar to me? I overtook the management of a site that is so small it does not need Seblod, but when I disable it, all articles give 404.

Thanks,

Sander

Hi

So what menu items were you using before uninstalling Seblod, and what menuitems are you using now Seblod is uninstalled?

I have not uninstalled yet. I need to know how to uninstall without losing data or having to remove code manually.

Is it safe to remove with extension manager (remove package)?

Hi

First is obviously recreate site in teat environment...

I'm no expert but I think I would delete all content types, search and lists, modules, templates and then uninstall Seblod the Joomla way.

The Articles will probably be left with the Seblod syntax in the introtext column.

This will need to be deleted for each article, doing it in the db will be quicker...

You can uninstall by choosing package yes.

When you uninstall Seblod you will be left with some codes in the articles and no content. Also all menus pointing to list/search types, forms etc that lead to seblod directly will be dead (404), you will need to recreate them using joomla com_content views (e.g. category blog).

There is unfortunatelly no tool to convert seblod articles to joomla ones, easiest way probably is to make a copy of the site, uninstall seblod on the copy, then create new article for each article you wish to transfer and copy content from original one by one.
