i try to create a simple workflow for my site. But till now, I didnt find a solution for my problem. May be, there are some plugins, that can help me?

My task is a workflow in article creation:

Authors may create articles and edit their own articles. I succeded doing this.

Publishers may edit all articles and publish all articles. I succeded doing this.

Editors may edit only articles of a certain category.

When the author creates the article, he selects a certain category for the article, (like "senior", "family" ...)

An editor of the department "senior" may only edit articles of the category "senior".

I tried to use standard joomla categories, to use the permission settings here. But after setting up  a dozen categories, I had to recognize the fact, that the seblod users ignore these settings. And for an unknown reason, I cannot create standard users.

Does anyone know a tutorial, to do this? Do the Joomla! ACL-Pack Plugins help here?

So, is there a possiblity to restrict the access to the save-Button to several user groups?
