I have set up search using the Article Created field (date type) using S3.3.5 and J3.3

It seems while searching for date matching criteria...

Seblod only gives me 4 choices:

  • The date you chose + FUTURE dates
  • FUTURE dates > than the date you chose
  • The date you chose + PAST dates
  • PAST dates > than the date you chose

But NO "TODAY ONLY" ... why is that?

Is there a way to find articles by a particular date with none before and none after?

I have tried a lot of different settings and couldn't get it without using a range (two datefields).

I'm thinking of maybe hiding one date-field and that that one is automaticcaly filled with NOW+1

I guess there is some technical reason why it is more difficult then we assume....

I'm not sure if it would work for articles. But i tried it with a date field in a content type...

In the search i have put this datefield and with the date(math) plugin i can set it to the current date (+0).

This seems to work... will test some more for different situations...

Yes, two field one set as < and the other set as > and set the dates accordingly perhaps based on checkbox for searching "today"
