Hello :)

When displaying a list of articles, I select the template to use for this page in the menu item. (e.g. a full width template without a sidebar)

How do I tell Joomla / SEBLOD to use a different Joomla template for the article view page,
that is displayed after opening an article from that SEBLOD list? (e.g. with sidebar)

In the list, when you create a link to to item view you can select which menu will be used, so link will also open with a tempalte assigned to that menu.

Perfect. Thank you, Klas.

I have created a shadow menu and within that a menu item, that points to a single article.

Now, this is a difficult question, I hope  ;)

It's about content routing with the language switcher.

Everything with my 2-language assigned blog articles in the list
is now working fine and SEBLOD makes the switches
SEBLOD is smart :)

The only thing I dislike is the way the articles are routed to.

-

EXAMPLE url:

.

once I go to that page, the
Language switcher link back to en is: domain.com/en/seblod/seblod/15-seblod/seblod-blog/en/9-blog-article-2

.

Ideally, SEBLOD should have it kept just under domain.com/<language>/seblod-blog
What am I doing wrong?

.

Klas, Thank you sincerely!

Hi, as joomla requires home menus for each language before switcher will work I suspect that your menu structure can be the root of your problem, try making a separate menu to blog and other menus - for each language.

Thank you, Klas

That is right. I have two separate menus with the same structure.

All menu items and articles have their language applied.

In each menu, one home article is selected for the language and marked with the flags.

- the switcher works ok, even on the Search Type's form.

I have only one search type for both languages, yet two separate menu items using the search (blog)

I use the URL variable to filter for language automatically

SEBLOD works fine and makes the links correctly, just the language switcher

doesn't get the route when the Blog post is viewed

... This should be working, right?

Friendly hello :)

I have tried now to make separate search types for each language,

I have also tried to position the menu item, that I have chosen for the view in the Search Type
to a different menu, to the same menu, to different positions in relation to the menu item with the Blog Search.

It is not working. Is it a bug?

Or just not yet programmed?

Thanks for having a look

Hi,

I found this topic because i had the same first issue, after I saw this thread I can solve too. But one issue can't be solve.

In article exists the button "next article" and "previous article", and when I navigate through them the theme article change to another. It's possible to define the theme to these buttons too?

Thanks.
