Hi to all, I'm new to Seblod and I can't understand how to complete a task. I need to create a module that shows all the articles created for the site, except some categories. I already learned how to make simple search / lists, but I still have 2 point that I cannot do
- create a list / search that took all articles from one category and all its subcategories
- create a list that exclude all articles from one or more categories and all their subcategories

in order to list or exclude the articles of one category and all of its subcategories, you should use fields "Category Left" and "Category Right" in the first stage of the search process.

You can list the articles of one category and all of its sub-categories, you can add the field "Article Category Id" to the search form of your search type.
After that, you can click on button 3 in order to select option "Nested Exact" for the field "Article Category Id".
Then, click on button "+". You will have to settings "collection" and "Table". Please select for the parameter "Table" the option "#__categories".
If you follow theses steps, you will obtain all articles of one category and all of its sub-categories.
