Hi,
I would like to make the search results (with seblod table template) links, which point to a new page where only that particular content is displayed (similarly to joomla's category list menu item type). I was wondering whether there is an out of the box solution for this (before I start hacking).

No need, to hack, just go to the buttons with the numbers on the right side, nb. 2 is Link&Typography. After clicking it you can set link to Content->View
