Hi there guys!

I have a search form with several fields, none of which is required (mandatory).

However, I don't want to return ALL the results when none of the fields is filled.

So I want to execute the search only if at least one of the fields is filled in, it doesn't matter which one. Is this possible at all, and how?

I'm using Seblod Version 2.3.9 and Joomla! 2.5.6 (it's an old project).

I'm sorry if this has already been discussed, but I wasn't able to find any topic on this issue, except for this one, which doesn't have any replies: http://www.seblod.com/v2/forum/Search-Types/26170-Fill-required-field-to-start-search.html

Thanks in advance!

Hello,

did you try inside List and Search type/ Search form add to submit button some Conditional States (right column, no.5)?

You can try to set something like:

this field is disabled (or hidden) if field x has no value

this field is disabled (or hidden ) if field y has no value

I tried something like that, but multiple conditions don't work in this version of Seblod.

Plus I don't know how to set up a condition that is executed when field x has ANY value.
