This looks correct, do you use component or module to display results? Also, enable debugging in list configuration to see which column is used for ordering (query will have ORDER BY some_column at the end )

Christian.

Hi

Have you tried a different field in the ordering to see what happens?

The debug shows that you have added the field "art_ordering" to the Ordering View of your List & Search and that it is set to ASCENDING.

I tried that and it works for me.

Is cache off, maybe that is worth checking?

RE Date formatting, have you tried Datetime?

Thanks for your response.

I tried all the possibilities for the cache, but without positive result. Either it does not matter, or that does not display the results.

Sort by city or academy works well.
To date, I tried with the Date field or the Date x field.
I do not know which to use.
With the Date field, the debug said ORDER BY t1.title ASC

With the Date field x, the debug said ORDER BY t1.introtext ASC

But the list is still in disorder...

Hi

I just noticed that you might be storing your fieldx value in the introtext column:

With the Date field x, the debug said ORDER BY t1.introtext ASC

I believe it is best to not do this. So if you have stored your date in the introtext column then changing it would be better ie:

custom | Article | my_date_fieldx[my_date_field]

What about creating a brand new list?

Apart form that I have no idea, sorry.

Salut
