Hi folks

Can anyone help me understand how I can list TAGS.

Not tags that belong to an article, but just some tags ie

Create a search and list type that shows tags with parent id of 5.

(This is not possible in the same way as listing articles with parent catid so there must be some clever way of doing it)...

...If not possible then I would like to add tags to an article and list articles with either tag 1, tag 2, or tag 3.

The search operator plugin seems to be what I need so if someone could post some screenshots of what they have done that would be great

Hello Bucklash, had some "holidays" from using and learning Seblod... so I am not sure if the following links and tutorials still apply:

Using the Search Query field plugin
(Also used on the official demo site.)

- A temporary workaround for search by tag issues on custom content types

Hi Pepperstreet

I'm not sure they do apply as I think you still need a content type involved in the equation.

Klas put me on to the 'workaround' which I hadn't seen before. That example seems to be listing a content type based on tags.

I think the trick is searchind and listing things that aren't connected to 'objects'

Hi Pepperstreet

I'm being an idiot:

The Search Query field!!

Create my non-object list with that, then put that list inside another list using the 'list' field

Trying to do this stuff by myself means I forget a lot of the things I need to remember...

IGNORE THE FOLLOWING....

So....

OBJECTS:

Articles, Categories, Users, Usergroups, and an option to add Usernotes

CONTENT TYPES

Any new form created with Seblod based on above objects

SEBLOD lives within these objects via their content types, so I suppose to list tags, you need to do it via a content type.

Seblod is built to list content types. Seblod does not have a mechanism to list tags directly.

That kinda sums up how I think it is....

ps

Once you start using Seblod, you want it to do everything!!

Hi Klas

Thanks for that. It helps a lot

I have a situation where my list module shows results, but not the search module. Will hopefully find the reason tonight
