Hi
If we try to enter a string such as 'dummy < 400' in a text field inside a search form the value is automatically convert to 'dummy 400', skipping the '<' character.
Is there a way to deactivate this filter please ??

here are some additional info about this issue: if I enable the debug I can see the SQL query and see that the special characters such as "<" are already skipped BUT if I try the same query (but with the complete string with "<" ) from phpmyadmin it works.
It doesn't depend on the template too.
an someone confirm this please?
