Hello

There is something I definitively don't understand in the joomla/seblod sef router:

I have a menu item (mymenu) pointing to one content (first-article) and then, on this content page, a seblod list module displaying related contents with a SEE(+) link on them.

The first content is properly accessed through the /mymenu/first-article sef url.

BUT  the sef links on the related contents are /mymenu/first-article?id=xx:content-alias instead of /mymenu/content-alias.

I activated both joomla sef options  and seblod sef option is set to /alias. in the seblod list config the sef parameter is set to inherited, as in the SEE(+) plugin.

thanks for your tips

Hi Cyril,

"Inherited" as Menu Item target will use the current Menu ItemID to build the route.
It works fine when the page is a SEBLOD List... (i.e. option=com_cck&view=list)

When you use a Search Type in a module, you should select a specific Menu Item target (a SEBLOD List page) in order to be sure to have the proper link..... regardless of the type of the current page.

Saba.

thanks,

Saba, always the same trick with Joomla: a menu item to each content!

There is no way to have sef urls as domain/content-alias wherever ?

thanks

Hi Cyril,

If you create your menu link with a seblod list such as /my-list (like http://www.seblod.com/products), then all your items listed will have nice url. Then you can add a link in your menu to a single article, 2 solutions:

  • a custom link
  • a seblod list link which search the id of the single user (add id filter in your search form), enable the auto-redirect (redirect directly on the item, if only on item is found).

Thanks.

Hi SEBLOD,

It's fundamental question, why have you marked it as resolved?

Are you playing the same game: "asked -> resolved" as some of your collogues do?

You are not so cheep as them. Don't make yourself the next ostrich! We do not deserve it!

Ricco
