Hi Sebloders,

i got 3 Sites, each with the automatically created Access Level of Seblod. Now i got a category list on each site for the menu items, which are using the same categories to show the same articles. Unfortunately, the links which are created by joomlas category list, always link to the newest menu item with this category (sorry, its complicated).
For example:

Cat1
- SubCat1
- SubCat2
- SubCat3

Menu1
- MenuItem1-1 Category List of SubCat1
- MenuItem2-1 Category List of SubCat2
- MenuItem3-1 Category List of SubCat3

Menu2
- MenuItem1-2 Category List of SubCat1
- MenuItem2-2 Category List of SubCat2
- MenuItem3-2 Category List of SubCat3

Menu3
- MenuItem1-3 Category List of SubCat1
- MenuItem2-3 Category List of SubCat2
- MenuItem3-3 Category List of SubCat3

This is a simplified version.
Links created by Joomla for MenuItem1-1 is linked to MenuItem1-3. Also, MenuItem1-2 is linked to MenuItem1-3. As well as MenuItem2-1 and MenuItem2-2 are both linked to MenuItem2-3. And, MenuItem3-1 and MenuItem3-2 are linked to MenuItem3-3. As i describe, the category listing is always to newest one.
The bad thing is, access level have absolutly no effect. The Items of Menu3 are always accessable by the other Menus.

How can i manage to use the same category but separate category listings?

Any help is welcome. Please ask if anything is unclear.

This sounds like a multi-language setup. In that case, setting language to menu items should leave you with just the appropriate items.
