Hello,

I am new to Seblod and a little confused with templating and content display in general.

I can build the admin forms and include the fields for content.  When I publish the article to the menu I can see the content however images aren't be rendered... just the path and image name.  (I am using the installed defaults for intro and full article images.  Evidently this is requires some template design? Is that true or is there a way directly from the Seblod dashboard?

The only documentation seems to be for v 2.x (http://www.seblod.com/v2/documentation/seblod-2x/templates/2754-getting-started-with-custom-templates-positions.html) .  This doesn't line up with what I am seeing in the installation.  For example there aren't any sub folders or files under seb_one/positions/

Feel like I am flying blind.

Thanks,

Joe

Hi,

Joomla! article images (Intro & Full) should be displayed by default by your Joomla! template, so you don't need to add the related SEBLOD field in your SEBLOD 'content' view. Maybe you have a Joomla! template which overrides the default content template and which doesn't display content images.

In any case, it's always better to use an 'Upload / Image' SEBLOD field to manage your content images. Many great features...

Thanks for your help. I found a couple videos that covered templates and position overrides. That seems to put me on the right path. I am using the image path and dumping into a the img tag in the template. Perhaps not the best way but it works.

Hi joem,

In order to display image, please check the configuration of the image field.
Anyway, try to use typo plugin "image" by clicking of button 3 in the content view of your content type.

Mehdi.
